I am a photographer and a psychologist living in Houston, and although I have always photographed, my "day jobs" have taken several turns. For the past several years I have been a Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist. Before that I owned and operated a nature bookstore called The Chickadee, and before that I traded stocks for institutions in New York and Houston.

I have taken adult education classes in photography at the Glassell School of Art in Houston, Houston Center for Photography and Rice University and I have had the privilege of working with several fine photographers and teachers including Peter Brown, David Halpern, James Frank and Geoff Winningham.
